Generating engagement across Vodafone’s SocialOnDemand platform

How an overhaul of Vodafone’s SocialOnDemand content-portal enabled partners to extend their online presence and engage with their community.

The Brief

Vodafone was keen to encourage partners to realise the full potential of their SocialOnDemand platform, a free to use social content aggregator. Whilst awareness of the tool was high, engagement amongst partners was low – it was time to re-energise the platform and raise awareness along the way.

The Process

We spent time speaking with partners, later discovering the general experience of using the tool was limiting – content was lacking, sometimes too niche and often out of date.

The Execution

Using the feedback from partners, we defined the content strategy, populating the tool with a range of industry content across different sectors, alongside partner assets that would help users post a mixed but engaging range of content across their social media channels.

The Results

Within one month of repopulating the social media streams and associated content, we saw user engagement with the tool shoot up 366% compared to the month previous in terms of the number of users who have logged into the tool.
