Christmas Game Jingle Jumping George

We wanted to share some Christmas joy with our clients so we decided to create our own branded game in the form of Jingle Jumping George, our festive gingerbread man. This was promoted via our website, email signatures and through an email campaign.

The game was built using the game engine Phaser, an ideal framework to work on desktops and on mobile devices. The game featured our gingerbread man moving forward continually and accelerating to increase the difficulty of the game. George had to jump and avoid falling in the gaps along his way. The game could be navigated to via the website and we used elements of our brand in the landscape.

By implementing a game with simple mechanics but an engaging level of difficulty and competition, we ensured anyone could play it and view their results on the live scoreboard and subsequently, we had users repeat visiting to try and beat the top score.

Arcade style online game

The Flippy Skate Boarders game was created to support the refresh campaign of Vodafone Big Value Bundles on Pay as you go. It was aimed to drive Vodafone Indirect Partners to their portal to play the game, as well as to learn the details of the campaign.

The image of the campaign was around skateboarders, so with that in mind, we proposed an arcade style game, easy to play on desktop and mobile devices. The mechanics involved a skateboarder moving through a street, avoiding obstacles as the game was getting faster. The user had the ability to collect bonus reward points matching those of the bundles of the campaign. The best scorers were those who could skate for the longest collecting bonus points. All entries entered a prize draw and the top scorer also won a prize.

The game was very popular, it increased traffic to the site and generated interest in the campaign. Many players engaged multiple times with the ambition to move up the leader board.

Indirect Channel Beach Ball Game

The Vodafone free roaming campaign required a powerful engagement mechanism to communicate the new product offering.

Beach balls were being utilised in their summer campaign and we wanted to adapt this via a game mechanic where users had to find beach balls, in a similar style to “Where’s Wally”. We created a colourful, eye catching illustration featuring a crowded beach where 10 balls were hidden carefully with varying levels of difficulty to increase the engagement, this game worked seamlessly on mobile and desktop.

The illustration allowed us to embed elements of the brand, so as players were looking for the beach balls they would also find logos or posters for the campaign, displayed in a natural way through the illustration.
