With your role in PR, where do you get most of your news from?
First thing in the morning I head onto the News app on my phone – here you can tailor the publications you’d like to receive news from, be it BBC to Vogue, it’s up to you. Twitter is also a useful news source which is my go-to for work purposes.
As a commuter, Radio 1’s Newsbeat is great to listen to to catch up on a wide variety of news also. We have a range of clients across different sectors, so it’s important to keep up to date on what’s going on across their industries.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Growing up I was inspired by Blue Peter and the news stories that were told. As I loved sport and (at the time) the outdoors, being a presenter on the show seemed like the perfect job for me and enhanced my interest in the media and communications.
Where did you last go on holiday?
A trip to Bellagio, Lake Como was the last holiday I had back in the summer, it was beautiful and the food was delicious. For anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of British cities to a more ‘tranquilic’ surrounding, I couldn’t recommend it more. You’ll come back feeling inspired and cleansed ready for the working week ahead, trust me!
And finally, what three things couldn’t you live without?
Phone, music and a sense of humour – all the things you need to keep you entertained.
