We’re thrilled to introduce you to Faith Tiley, who has joined the team as a Senior Account Executive. We sat down over a virtual cuppa to find out what inspires Faith’s Spotify playlists whilst remote working, why she has finally succumbed to TikTok and what she’s looking forward to most about her new role at onebite…

Congratulations on starting at onebite! What are you most looking forward to?

Thank you so much! I’m already loving being part of the onebite team. My background is food and hospitality marketing and PR, so I’m looking forward to getting stuck into some different clients and learning all about their businesses and the products and services they offer. Onebite pushes the boundaries of B2B digital marketing, so it’ll be great to work on bigger creative campaigns and develop my skill further.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?

I love being busy and enjoy having fun plans to look forward to at the weekend. This can include anything from festivals and city breaks to bottomless brunches and trying new restaurants! However, after a few busy weekends, I always need to recharge my social batteries and have a chilled weekend which is likely to include cooking, reading and long country walks.

Pick a song that best reflects your working day?

It’s hard to just pick one! I enjoy finding playlists that reflect my mood / the season / weather so at the moment I’m loving ‘Autumn Vibes’ on Spotify which is a real mixture of artists from Bon Iver to David Bowie.

What is your favourite social channel, and why?

I hate to say it but I find TikTok very intriguing! I always said I wouldn’t succumb to it, but I did find myself downloading it in one of the many lockdowns to pass some time. I think it’s interesting because it’s the first new platform that is so driven by algorithmic discovery and allows creators to connect with their audiences in new ways. Social media platforms tend to copy one another, so it’s refreshing to see something new that is shaking up the social media world. There is so much pressure to be ‘perfect’ on platforms such as Instagram, but TikTok comes across as more real to me. However, it does also scare me slightly because it is very addictive!
