On the 16th of December, my true love gave to me… a crackin’ onebite Christmas party…

…Eight Christmas Elves, seven lifetime sentences, six ‘wanted’ posters, five bags of contraband, four ‘cell mate’ tables, three courses of food, ‘too’ many photos and one night in Oxford Prison…

At onebite HQ we like to do things differently. Whilst it’s the ‘season to be jolly’, we wanted to turn the concept on its head. We decided to remove every ‘onebiter’ off of Santa’s ‘nice’ list and onto to the ‘naughty’ one. And what better way to do that than to throw us all into prison!

So that’s exactly what we did at the Oxford Jail Break Experience.

But it didn’t take long before we tried to escape – our team are of course very creatively minded, so we put this to good use to try and escape within one hour or face the consequences. Needless to say, we channelled our inner Sherlocks and solved the clues before the time ran out. But, there was still time to pose for a photo or two along the way…

That said, it didn’t last long before the prison guards caught up with us, and we were marched back into the prison to face the punishment for our crimes!

After a feast of delicious food and bubbles to celebrate 2016, we were joined by ghost teller extraordinaire, Bill Spectre, who brought chilling tales of prisoners past. One such story surrounded a certain lady who sometimes makes her presence known after she was unfairly hung in the prison in 1752!

Freedom and some shameful dance moves were just around the corner, but just before we were read our last rights, we took a look back on the year and toasted all the great things we’ve achieved together. We’ve grown our client base, eight wonderful new ‘onebiters’ have joined the mix, and there have even been two new babies! All in all, a very exciting year!

From everyone at onebite, we’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a fabulous New Year. Here’s to 2017!
