5 Minutes with… Marcy

Senior Developer, Marcy, tells us why she loves working at onebite and how she juggles work, with baking and school runs!

What do you enjoy most about working at onebite?

I love the variety of work and the complete mixture of projects I work on. As a Senior Developer, I work closely with each department, on a range of different clients. I thrive from working with different people, from different backgrounds and bouncing creative ideas off each other to reach the most valuable and impressive output. We have the perfect blend of technology expertise, creativity and innovative ideas and that is what sets onebite apart.

Working in such a fast-paced environment means that there are regular opportunities to learn another skill and stay ahead of the competition. I am always researching hot topics and trends to ensure we offer our clients the most innovative and creative solutions.

Lastly and (most importantly), I genuinely love the people at onebite; one of our core values is all about collaboration, and that really shines through all of our work as well as our relationships with clients.

What is your most rewarding moment in your career to date?

I can’t pinpoint one particular moment. I find a rewarding moment with each and every project I work on. I find effectively utilising my development skills on exciting digital projects is what makes me as a professional, truly satisfied.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am really creative, and I love anything crafty. You will either find me painting, drawing, baking cakes or chasing after my two adorable children!
